Activate AD Integration Feature

The way you active integration with Active Directory (AD) depends on the version of SharePoint you use.

For SharePoint 2010

To activate integration with AD:

  1. Connect to the SharePoint server and run PowerShell as Administrator. Run the following commands:

    - add-pssnapin Microsoft.sharepoint.powershell

    and then

    -enable-spfeature –identity Lanteria.EffectiveStaff2010.SharePoint_es2010_AD_Integration –url “Lanteria URL”

    Now that the Lanteria HR AD feature is activated, the AD Integration timer job is available in SharePoint Central Administration > Monitoring > Review Job Definitions. The AD Integration timer job is used to synchronize items in the Employees list of Lanteria HR with AD.

  2. In Lanteria HR, go to Settings > Settings and Configuration > System Settings > System Jobs and enable the LHR - AD Integration job.

For SharePoint 2013 or Later

In Lanteria HR, go to Settings > Settings and Configuration > System Settings > System Jobs and enable the LHR - AD Integration job.
