# Bonus Types

Follow these steps to create bonus types:

1. Go to **Settings > Settings and Configuration > Compensation**.
2. Click **Bonuses** in the left panel and click **Edit** next to the **Bonus Types** setting name on the **Basic** tab.

3. The **Bonus Types** list will open in spreadsheet view where you can directly edit the information you need.

4. Enter the bonus type name into the **Title** column.

The bonus types are used while assigning bonuses to employees through [Bonus Sheets](/v1/docs/bonus-sheets-1).
