In case you use such an environment for your Lanteria HR**, you can search candidates using the search box on the Candidate Tracking page instead. The **Search Database** action on the **Candidate Database** page will work only if the SharePoint Search service is properly configured and running at your SharePoint farm where Lanteria HR is installed.* To open the candidate database, go to **Recruiting** > **Candidates** > **Candidate Database**.![](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/image-1673950773136.png) Select the view that will be used to display the candidates. The following options are available: - **View By Job Opening** – the candidates will be grouped by job opening.![](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/image-1673950794696.png) - **View By Source** – the candidates will be grouped by candidate source. The candidate sources should be previously created in the [**Candidate** **Sources**](/v1/docs/candidate-sources) list.![](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/image-1673950814738.png) - **View By Status** – the candidates will be grouped by recruitment status. The statuses can be managed in the [**Candidate** **Statuses**](/v1/docs/candidate-statuses) list.![](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/image-1673950834515.png) Alternatively, on condition that the SharePoint Search service is properly configured and running at your SharePoint farm, you can use **Search Database** action to find a candidate in the candidate database. After you use the action, the **Candidate Search** page is opened. Optionally, set filters by candidate type, name, start date, end date, and/or skills, and the click the **Search** button. Click the name of a candidate to open the candidate card.![](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/image-1673950862200.png) ## Related - [Create Candidate](/create-candidate.md)
