# Candidate Referrals

The employees can [recommend their acquaintances](/v1/docs/recommend-your-friend) as candidates for the job openings. This can be done from the employee role menu, **My Company** > **Job Openings**. After the employee fills in the candidate's contact details, such candidate is created in the **Candidate Database** and is assigned as applicant to the selected job opening. The references can be checked from the [**Referrals Report**](/v1/docs/referrals-report) and are visible from the **Candidate Tracking**.
