Certificate Types

Uploaded or generated certificates can be assigned a type.

Follow these steps to create a certificate type:

1. Go to Settings > Settings and Configuration > Learning.
2. Click Learning Catalog in the left panel and click Edit next to the Certificate Types setting name on the Basic tab.
3. The Certificate Types list will open in spreadsheet view where you can directly edit the information you need.
4. Enter the type name into the Title column.
5. If necessary, enter the number of validity days into the Validity column. The validity days will be used for counting the certificate expiration date, if you don’t specify it manually when uploading the certificate.
6. Enter the name of the content type to be used for the automatic certificate generation into the Certificate Content Type column.
