Uploaded or generated certificates can be assigned a type.
Follow these steps to create a certificate type:
- Go to Settings > Settings and Configuration > Learning.
- Click Learning Catalog in the left panel and click Edit next to the Certificate Types setting name on the Basic tab.

- The Certificate Types list will open in spreadsheet view where you can directly edit the information you need.

- Enter the type name into the Title column.
- If necessary, enter the number of validity days in the Validity column. These validity days will be used to determine the certificate expiration date when the certificate is automatically generated or uploaded during manual completion of the development activity.
- Enter the name of the content type to be used for the automatic certificate generation into the Certificate Content Type column.
