Define Companies

In case you have multi-company or multi-division structure, create a list of companies/divisions. Being assigned to org units or employees (in case employee's company differs) the companies can be used for filtering data in the reports and launching the salary or performance reviews.

Follow these steps to create the list of companies:

1. Go to Settings > Settings and Configuration > Core HR.
2. Click Org Structure in the left panel and click Edit next to the Companies setting name on the Advanced tab.
   
3. The Companies list will open in spreadsheet view where you can directly edit the information you need.
4. Another way of editing the country properties is to either click on the country name or select Edit Item from the list item menu.
   This will open the country details form in the edit view where you can make all the necessary modifications.
   
   1. In the Company Name field, type the name of the company.
   2. Optionally, in the Line of Business field, type a particular kind of product or merchandise that this company is dealing with.
   3. If you want to temporarily disable this company, which will make it unavailable for usage and remove it from statistics on dashboards, select the Is Inactive check box. Clear this check box to make the country available for usage again.
   4. Click Save to save the changes.
