# Employee Search

It is often necessary to pull up some employee's card while working with the system. The **Find Employee** box allows to do it quickly and easily from anywhere in system without having to navigate to the Core HR.

To find an employee, click the ![FindEmployeeIcon](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/FindEmployeeIcon.png) icon, and then type a name or part of the name in the **Find Employee** field and select the employee from the list that appears.

*Tip**Alternatively, you can search for employees using the* [*employee database*](/v1/docs/employee-database)*, which provides a variety of search options.*
