Article summary

The Learning dashboard consists of six reports designed to help you analyze learning processes in the company:

  • Learning Statistics table that offers an overview of learning activities in the company. It includes:
    • Total Activities Completed, the number of activities that have Completion Date falling into the selected period and Completed status
    • Total External Activities, the number of external development activities with Start Date and/or Completion Date falling into the selected period
    • Avg Activities per Learner, the average of the number of all development activities that have Start Date and/or Completion Date within the selected period grouped by all employees, including terminated
    • Classroom Activities Conducted, the number of events for learning materials of type Classroom that have End Date falling into the selected period
    • Number of Certificates Gained, number of certificates that were created within the selected period
    • Total Passed/Failed, the number of development activities that have Passed or Failed status, respectively
    • Missing/Expired Certificates, the number of missing and required certificates that are mandatory for employees, including those who are inactive or terminated. The number of required certificates (and consequently, missing certificates) is calculated based on the certificate requirements set up for the employee personally (based on mandatory development needs) and for the employee job role (when creating a job role, the certificates required for this role can be specified); both main and additional assignments are taken into account
    • Missing Required Trainings, the number of all the missing required trainings that are mandatory based on all employees' job assignments, including employees who are inactive or terminated
  • Course Ranking by Number of Development Activities that shows courses ranking by the number of development activities that were started and/or completed within the selected period of time. If the number of units portrayed by horizontal bars exceeds 10, you can drag the chart upwards to scroll for more records.
    Note
    You can use drop-down lists at the top of the chart to select:
    • The number of records and the ranking direction.
    • The period of time to display the statistics for.

  • Learner Ranking by Number of Completed Activities that shows learners ranking by the number of activities completed, i.e. activities that acquired the Completed status, by each employee within the selected period of time. If the number of units portrayed by horizontal bars exceeds 10, you can drag the chart upwards to scroll for more records.
    Note
    You can use drop-down lists at the top of the chart to select:
    • The number of records and the ranking direction.
    • The period of time to display the statistics for.
  • Number of Requests in Waiting List by Course that shows courses ranking by the current total number of requests in the waiting list.

    Select the number of records to display from the drop-down list at the top of the chart.

  • Development Activities by Status that shows the breakdown of development activities that were started and/or completed within selected period of time by status.
    Note
    You can select a different time period to display the statistics for from the drop-down list at the top of the chart.
  • Course Ranking by Average Feedback Score that shows the courses ranking by the average feedback score calculated over the whole period of the course being included into the catalog. If the number of units portrayed by horizontal bars exceeds 10, you can drag the chart upwards to scroll for more records. Select the number of records and the ranking direction from the drop-down list at the top of the chart.

Note
Data in the Learning dashboard is updated by the Dashboards job that is run overnight. To run the job manually, locate it under Settings > Settings and Configuration > System Settings > System Jobs and click Run Now.

Click the HighContrastModeDisabled(1) icon to enable or the HighContrastModeEnabled(1) icon to disable the high contrast mode, which may be helpful for people with disabilities.
