# Manage Employees

Local HR can manage employees from the Local HR menu. In particular, Local HR has access to the following:

- Employee database. To access the employee database as Local HR, go to Home > LHR Core HR > Employees, set filters if necessary, and then click View. Information displayed in the employee database for Local HR is filtered by the access settings configured in [Local HR settings](/v1/docs/managing-local-hrs). From the employee database, Local HR (just like the HR role) can do the following:
  - [Hire an employee](/v1/docs/hirecreate-employee)
  - Access [cards](/v1/docs/employee-card) of existing employees where Local HRs can view and edit employee's information, including the following:
    - [Upload an employee's photo](/v1/docs/upload-photo-1)
    - [Manage sensitive data](/v1/docs/manage-sensitive-data)
    - [Change employee position](/v1/docs/change-employee-position)
    - [Change the employee's manager](/v1/docs/change-employees-manager)
    - [Terminate an employee](/v1/docs/terminate-employee)
    - [Rehire employee](/v1/docs/rehire-employee)
    - [Anonymize employee's data](/v1/docs/anonymize-employee-data)
    - [Delete employee data](/v1/docs/delete-employee-data)
