# Performance Review Types

Performance review types are used for grouping and filtering purposes.

Follow these steps to set up performance review types:

1. Go to **Settings > Settings and Configuration > Performance**.
2. Click **Performance Reviews** in the left panel and click **Edit** next to the **Performance Review Types** setting name on the **Basic** tab. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/img1202.png)
3. The **Performance Review Types** list will open in spreadsheet view where you can directly edit the information you need. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/img523.png)
4. Enter the type name into the **Title** column.
