# Power BI Integration Setup

Before you start working with the Power BI templates, make sure that the system [requirements](/v1/docs/requirements) are met.

Also, preliminary setup on the Lanteria HR side and Power BI side is required.

For Lanteria HR, the [SQL Data Export job must be enabled](/v1/docs/enable-sql-data-export-job) for exporting data to the Lanteria HR database in the format that can be used for Power BI. This database can then be [connected to the Power BI template as data source](/v1/docs/changing-data-source).

Power BI is to be [configured](/v1/docs/power-bi-configuration) not to form new relationships when the data is loaded, since this can cause issues when using the Lanteria HR Power BI templates.
