# Requirements

To be able to use the Lanteria HR BI templates, make sure that you have the following:

- Power BI Desktop
- Power BI Gateway installed on your SQL server
- Lanteria HR (version 4.4.137 +) 2013/2016/2019
- Account permissions to read data from the ESDB _* database (Lanteria HR database used for storing data exported by the [SQL Data Export job](/v1/docs/enable-sql-data-export-job))
- HR permissions for Lanteria HR
