Article Summary

If you plan to publish a job opening to the Candidate Self-Service site, but don't want it to be available to all the candidates, it can be set up to be visible only to candidates who are provided with a link.  

When publishing a job opening to the Candidate Self-Service site, select the Unlisted check box in the Fill Publishing Details dialog (appears after selecting Candidate Self-Service in the Publish To field of the Job Openings - New Item page).

After the job opening is approved and published, a link to the published job will be available from the Job Opening Details, Job Publishing tab (click Recruiting > Job Openings and then the name of the job opening to check the link for).

Copy the link and send it to the candidate whom you want to see the job opening and be able to apply.

Note
For the correct link generation, make sure that the proper Candidate Self-Service URL is specified in the Job Opening Publishing Options, Settings (check it under Settings > Settings and Configuration > Recruiting, then click Job Publishing > Publishing Options and then Settings next to Career Portal).
