# View Performance Trends

To view the performance trend chart, go to **Reports** > Report Center > Performance > **Performance Trend Chart**.

Select the type of performance review to display the trends for from the drop-down list in the **Type** field.

Use the **Start Date** and **End Date** fields to define the time period to display the trends for. To be shown on the chart, a performance review must have the performance review period end date within the selected date range.

The **Performance Trend Chart** is based on the [**Summary Rating**](https://help.lanteria.com/v1/docs/performance-review-score-calculation#manual-score) of the performance review. Consequently, if a performance doesn't have any summary ratings, it won't be displayed on the chart.
