# View Status of Mandatory Trainings

Use the [**Required Training Report**](/v1/docs/required-training-report) to view the status of the required training for employees.

To check which required training is missing for an employee, you can also go to the employee's personal development plan and select the **View Missing Mandatory Training** check box.

*Note**The check box will not be available if the **Display Missing Training on Development Plan** check box is selected in the [Learning module settings](https://help.lanteria.com/docs/missing-mandatory-training). In this case, the required training will be always displayed in the development plan.*

All the required compliance trainings that are not yet added to the development plan will be listed in the plan with the red **Missing Mandatory** label. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c315c68d-2799-4fcc-9a39-084315b58f14/Images/Documentation/img1092.png)

Click the **Add to My Plan** or the **Send Request** button to add the required training to the development plan directly or send a request for participation, if needed.

If the training request for the required training has been approved, but the employee is not registered yet for a training event, the missing training will have the status Approved (relevant only if the [**Training Request Approval Action**](/v1/docs/training-request-approval-action) in set to Approve Only).
