Consider Additional Job Assignments

Article summary

When creating a learning group, the user specifies the criteria based on which the employees are included into the group (company, country, location, org unit and job role). By default, only the main job assignment information will be considered by the system when searching for the employees to be included into the learning group. If additional job assignment should also be taken into account, select the Consider Additional Job Assignments check box in the Learning settings under the Learning Group

Examples

Employee is working as Sales Representative in the Sales US department (main assignment) and is also performing the functions of the Consultant in the Support Canada department (additional assignment). If the Consider Additional Job Assignments check box is selected, this employee will be included into the learning groups with the Consultant job role, Support org unit or Canada country selected. Otherwise, only into the groups where the main assignment details meet the selection criteria.
