Article summary

If you are a third party (e.g. a partner) that is configuring integration of Lanteria HR with SEEK through your API for a client, you must authorize yourself on the SEEK side to gain permission to interact with SEEK on the client's behalf. This is required, because SEEK need to "onboard" a new client first.

In this case, the third party (partner) must contact SEEK API support via APISupport@seek.com.au and provide the following information:

  • Client Name
  • Client SEEK Account ID
  • Required API setup: Job Ad Posting API 

Following this request, API Support will contact the client directly to gain written authorization for a third party to interact with SEEK on their behalf. Once received, the required permissions will be set on the client’s SEEK account at the agreed date and time.
Once permissions are activated, API Support will confirm this with the appropriate client and partner point of contact including any relevant setup details. At this stage, the API can be configured in the partner’s system.

Note
The onboarding process has a 24-hour turnaround time once authorization has been received from the client.
