HelpDesk Request Editing Permissions

By default, the responsible user with the Employee or Manager role can assign the responsible, include other employees and change the status to In Progress for the HR HelpDesk request. The included user can include other employees. To disable these options, select the Limit HelpDesk Request Editing check box under Settings > Settings and Configuration > Core HR > HR HelpDesk. The setting doesn't influence the HR role.

Responsible permissions with selected Limit HelpDesk Request Editing check box:

• View the request
• Close (complete) the request
• Close the dialog

Included user permissions with selected Limit HelpDesk Request Editing check box:

• View the request
• Remove himself/herself from the list of included employees
• Close the dialog
