Performance Ratings

Prev Next

The employee's performance rating, which evaluates their overall performance, is calculated based on the scores in the Performance Rating section or on scores provided manually by the manager.

For more details on the summary review score calculations, refer to the Performance Rating section description.

Follow these steps to set up performance ratings:

  1. Go to Settings > Settings and Configuration > Performance.
  2. Click Performance Reviews in the left panel and click Edit next to the Performance Ratings setting name on the Basic tab.
  3. The Performance Ratings list will open in spreadsheet view, where you can directly edit the information you need.
  4. Enter a descriptive name for the score into the Title column.
  5. Enter the numeric rating corresponding to the description into the Rating column. If you specify 0, it corresponds to "Not Applicable".
  6. Enter the percentage of the recommended salary change into the Recommended Salary Change(%) column. This salary increase (decrease) will be recommended during the salary review, depending on the employee's performance.

Auto-assign Performance Rating Based on the Calculated Score
Starting from version 26.2.1, the system can automatically assign the Performance Rating based on the Calculated Score and Rating Matrix.
A new option is available at Settings > Settings and Configuration > Performance > Performance Reviews > Auto-assign Performance Rating Based on the Calculated Score
If enabled, the Score Rating Matrix option appears, allowing the mapping of Minimal and Maximum scores to Performance Review Summary Ratings.
When this option is enabled, only HR users can change the Performance Rating on the review form, and for other roles, it will be greyed out.
