Job Role Relationships

You can set up a job role relationship structure within the system. The job role relationships will be displayed in the Job Profile available under Performance > Competence > Job Profiles.


Follow these steps to establish job role relationships:

  1. Go to Settings > Settings and Configuration > Core HR.
  2. Click Org Structure in the left panel and click Edit next to the Job Role Relationship setting name on the Advanced tab.
  3. The Job Role Relationship list will open where you can edit the information you need.
  4. Select the job role you establish a relation for from the drop-down list in the Job Role column.
    Please note that the relationship created will be displayed only in the job profile of the job role selected in this field, and not in the profiles of the job roles it is related to (these are selected in the following Job Roles field). 
  5. Select the type of relation that exists between the roles in question from the drop-down list in the Relationship column. There can be only one type of relationship per record.
  6. Select the check boxes corresponding to the job roles that are linked to the first one by this type of relationship in the drop-down list in the Job Roles column.
